On June 26, Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) teaching staff, educational assistants, and early childhood educators from all schools across the Board will be participating in professional development in-person, focusing on explicit instruction, mathematics learning, and transition planning for implementation in the 2026-2027 school year. Below is the format that will be taking place throughout the day for each group:
Elementary

Topic: Explicit instruction, spring math, transition planning and implementation

Description: The morning will include a virtual presentation by Dr. Nathaniel Swain, followed by spring math facilitated by the Curriculum Services Team, and finalized by school-based transition planning in the afternoon.

Topic: Board and school improvement planning for student achievement and well-being
