Grizzly Guardians and Students
We have a very busy start to the month of October in the Grizzly Den. Here’s a highlight of what’s to come:
Intermediate Soccer Tournament:
Grade 7/8 soccer players will be taking to the pitch at Gostick Park in Bracebridge on Tuesday, Oct 4. Permission forms will be needed before students can load the bus. For more, please contact Mrs. Billingsley.
BLUE & WHITE DAY
The Toronto Maples Leafs are coming to town again this year and we’re celebrating with a Blue & White Day on Wednesday, October 5. Some classes have chosen to visit the community practice at the Centennial Centre from 11:30 – 2:00pm. Letters and permission forms will be going home Monday, Oct 3, which will need to be returned signed in order to participate. Parents who wish to attend as volunteers should contact their child’s teacher.
Performance of Julius Cesear
Ms Bussotti, Mrs. Billingsley, and Mr. Dobie’s classes will be headed to the Rene Cassie Theatre in Bracebridge on Thursday, October 6 in the afternoon for a community performance of the Shakespearan classic featuring our very own Ms. Bussotti.
PHOTO DAY
The fall school picture day is set for Friday, October 7, 2022. Photos will once again be organized by Edge Imaging.
Thanksgiving Day – October 10 – No School
IEP Parent Consultation Sessions:
Guardians of students with Individual Education Plans were sent letters requesting their preference for involvement and consultation in the development of the IEP. Parents who chose a consultation meeting will be informed of a time for the meeting on either Thursday, October 13 or Friday, October 14.
IEPs and Safety Plans will be sent home on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
