The K-12 Cyber Awareness Month (CAM) campaign has been developed to promote safer and more secure practices across our school communities. By promoting best practices in Kindergarten to Grade 12, these students will be better equipped to navigate the use of the internet, particularly in the areas of cyber safety, cyber security, and online privacy.
We’re encouraging participants to be a Cyberhero! Fight off the bad guys – the phishers, scam artists, and all the supervillains who pose a threat to cyber security, safety, and privacy.
Throughout the month, we will be sharing information and tips to help you protect your privacy and stay safer and more secure online. Each week, there will be a new theme:
- Week 1: Social media, gaming, and the metaverse
- Week 2: Cyber scams and phishing
- Week 3: Cyber hygiene
- Week 4: Digital Wellness
